Herzog’s Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center, located in the new Samson Medical Pavilion, consists of four in-patient rehabilitation departments, as well as extensive day care hospitalization and outpatient facilities offering a broad range of services including occupational, speech and physiotherapy. Herzog incorporates new technologies and advanced medical treatment to improve human function and physical ability collaborating with local Israeli high-tech companies to develop the latest in rehabilitation technology. For example, Herzog’s own Clinical Research Center for Brain Sciences is responsible for the testing of some of the newest cutting-edge technologies in the rehab field such as a new rehabilitation protocol using virtual reality to help patients restore balance and movement equilibrium.
Herzog’s Department of Physical Rehabilitation cares for patients recovering from strokes, fractures and orthopedic surgery. Experienced physiotherapists, occupational and speech therapists help patients regain a maximum level of functioning so that they may return home as quickly as possible.
